Letter: Senior Appreciation Day an excellent tradition

To the Editors:

It was another great showing of the performing and visual arts in the Wilton schools last Wednesday, at a brunch honoring the senior citizens of Wilton. Many members of Stay at Home in Wilton were privileged to be in the happy crowd, listening to several small groups of musicians while enjoying a delicious brunch. Then we were honored to hear the concert band performing two outstanding works that were certainly at the college level if not the professional level.

Both during and after the event, we had the pleasure to view art work from many of the school students plus many that were sent from other countries in an exchange program. This is the fourth such event hosted by the school system and the PTSA. The members of Stay at Home in Wilton want to thank all involved for providing such a fine noon-time event. This has become an excellent tradition.
