(The following letter to the first selectman and and planning and zoning commissioners is printed here at the author’s request.)

My husband and I are strongly opposed to the recently passed AROD — Age-Restricted Overlay District — zoning regulation which through Section 29-5.F(4)(2)(d)(a) permits high-density housing development to occur along Ridgefield Road.

Please reconsider this and vote in favor of removing Ridgefield Road from this zoning regulation.
