To the Editors:
I have just returned from the 9/11 memorial service held by the Wilton Fire Department at the Wilton Fire Station. I think that I have only missed one service since that terrible day 14 years ago.
I was both uplifted and disappointed this year. Disappointed in that the service was poorly attended by the citizens of Wilton, but uplifted by the remarks of the guest speaker, Sandy Mumbach, who remembered what that day was like. I hope that her talk is printed somewhere for all to see.
