Letter: Ladies' Soirée largest ever

To the Editors:

More than 200 ladies within our community joined us in celebrating the Wilton Library’s 15th Annual Ladies’ Soirée. This fund-raising event was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful support of our patrons, donors, committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and staff. This was indeed an evening of everyone coming together — catching up with old friends and making new ones. It was a beautiful night, and everyone enjoyed wonderful food, fantastic silent auction items, along with fun opportunities to further support the library.

Our largest gathering in the 15-year history of this event, more than $20,000 was raised to benefit the community through the library’s collections, programs, technology, and services. Our event chairs — Priscilla Thors, Nalini Hage, Kari Roberts, and Carrie Preisano — worked tirelessly to create another special evening. We already have great plans for next year’s event! A heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone for helping Wilton Library continue as the center for discovery in the heart of the community.

A huge thank-you to all for their wonderful work in supporting the Wilton Library. We could not have done it without your help!
