Letter: Ladies’ Soirée fund-raiser ‘fabulous’

To the Editors:
More than 200 ladies in our community joined us in celebrating Wilton Library at the 16th annual Ladies’ Soirée fund-raiser. The event was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful support of our patrons, donors, committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and staff. In fact, for the first time in the history of the event, we were sold out in advance of the night — and therefore not able to accept any last-minute walk-ins at the door.
We had a wonderful committee who worked hard over the last few months, creating a fabulous evening which brought everyone together in support of a common cause. A huge thank-you, and our gratitude, to the committee for all their wonderful work in supporting Wilton Library.
Over $20,000 was raised to benefit the community through the library’s collections, programs, technology, and services. Our thanks go out to everyone — neighbors, friends and local businesses — for helping Wilton Library continue as the center for discovery in the heart of our community. Sponsors: Caraluzzi’s, Moments by Andrea, and The Greens at Canndondale/ Wilton Meadows, and Media Sponsor Wilton Magazine. Committee: Charlie Albers, Amy Cooper, Suzanne Lishnoff, Sarah McCall, Sarah Taylor, Tara Thomson, Priscilla Thors, and Jessica White. Volunteers: Janet Anderson, Gary Battaglia, Sydney Brandt, Nancy McManus Ciaccio, AJ Cooper, Karen Danvers, Danielle DeBella, Ally Disanto, Campbell Gulbin, Nick Hanna, Kim Healy, John Hinshaw, Mike Kaelin, Lesley Keogh, Phil Lauria, Ella Mannix, Nevine Michaels, Tina McQuilkin, Marnie Reynolds, Robin Roscillo, Margaret Smith, Jennifer Walker, Anita Waxberg, Diane Wilson. Caterers: Marly’s Bar & Bistro. And all the many local businesses who donated to our event, the wonderful staff of the Wilton Library and our board of trustees!
