Letter: Ladies Soirée celebrates Wilton Library

To the Editors:

Once again, over 200 ladies in our community joined us in celebrating Wilton Library at the 17th Annual Ladies’ Soirée fund-raiser. This sold-out event was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful support of our patrons, donors, committee members, volunteers, sponsors and staff.

We had an incredible committee who worked hard over the last few months, creating a fabulous and special evening which brought everyone together in support of our resources, programs, and services. A huge thank you, along with our gratitude and appreciation, to the committee for all their wonderful work in supporting Wilton Library.

Funds raised at the event will benefit the community through the library’s collections, programs, technology and services. Our thanks go out to everyone — neighbors, friends and local businesses — for helping Wilton Library continue as the center for discovery in the heart of our community.

Sponsors: BankWell, Caraluzzi’s, and Catamount Wealth Management, and media sponsor Wilton Magazine. Committee: Jennifer Alesia, Amy Cooper, Suzanne Lishnoff (chairperson), Carrie Preisano, Michelle Shia and Kathleen Zadourian. Volunteers: Pat Alesia, Janet Anderson, Ileana Barns-Slavin, Gary Battaglia, Marc Borelli, JoAnn Ciavarelli, Patty Connor, A.J. Cooper, Margret Greene, Fred Harley, Kim Healy, Michele Klink, Nevine Michaels, Tina McQuilkin, Saras Nair, Dawn Nostin, Marnie Reynolds, Carol Splitorff, Jennifer Walker and Anita Waxberg. Caterers: Marly’s Bar & Bistro; and all the many local businesses who donated to our event, the wonderful staff of the Wilton Library and our Board of Trustees!
