Letter: Gray family thanks ski race donors
To the Editors:
The Gray Family would like to take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt thanks to this wonderful community for all of your support and donations to the 16th Annual Michael Gray Ski and Snowboard Race, held on March 5 in Windham, N.Y. For the past 16 years, The Michael Gray Race has benefited the Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham. ASF is a nonprofit organization that provides profound and life-changing experiences for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities through outdoor physical activity, education, and support.
The generous donations given by various merchants and residents of Wilton helped us to raise approximately $35,000. Although it wasn’t our biggest year, the money will go a long way in helping ASF in their mission. We couldn’t have pulled this off without all of you.
Thank you to the following businesses that generously donated to our event: Ancona’s Wines and Liquors, Bianco Rosso, Cannondale Generators, Comfortable Care Dentistry, Designs by Laura, Flour, Water, Salt Bread, Gåva, Lee Horticultural Services, Little Pub, Outdoor Sports Center, Pedigree Ski Shop, Rolling Hills Country Club, Signature Style, The Schoolhouse at Cannondale, The Village Market, The Walter Schalk School of Dance, and Wilton Jewelers.
The Gray family could not be more grateful to all the residents who help make our event so successful! For more information, visit www.remembermichael.com or find us on Facebook.
