To the Editors:
The Middlebrook School Counseling Department and Wilton Education Foundation recently co-sponsored their annual Career Awareness Day. We appreciate the tireless efforts of Renee Cahill and Michelle Tupper from the Wilton Education Foundation Career Awareness Day Committee. We would like to recognize the 64 professionals who shared their time and expertise with the Middlebrook students. This event is just one example of the tremendous support that our local community provides for our educational programs.
Career awareness at the middle school level is an integral part of the Developmental Guidance curriculum and provides a unique opportunity for our students to learn about a variety of careers. The students will benefit from new information gathered during Career Awareness Day as they begin to consider their future plans.
