Letter: Book sale succeeds with help of many

To the Editors:

On behalf of the board of trustees and staff at Wilton Library, we would like to thank all who contributed to the success of our fall book sale. A successful sale requires work by many volunteers, including those who work during the event and those who sort, price and store books in preparation for the sale, help set up for the sale by arranging tables and books by category, and who put everything away afterwards. This group of hard-working volunteers provides countless hours year-round in the Book Cellar getting us ready for the four book sales offered each year and, of course, our ongoing book sales shelf in the library.

Wilton Library Book Sales is an important fund-raiser, providing a significant source of income to support our many programs, materials and collections. We would be remiss if we didn’t also thank those who donated, and those who purchased, books, CDs and DVDs. Your support of the library is deeply appreciated. Our next sale is the Holiday Book Sale from Nov. 23 to  Jan. 4. We hope to see you there! A very heartfelt thank-you to all of our volunteers who unpacked, sorted, organized, and sold books at the sale!
