Letter: Beyond Words was a success

To the Editors:
Over 200 members of our community joined us in celebrating Wilton Library at our annual benefit, Beyond Words. This year, we went “Derby Style.” The event was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful support of our patrons, donors, committee members, volunteers, sponsors and staff.
Some $80,000 was raised to benefit the community through the Library’s collections, programs, technology and services. Our thanks go out to everyone — neighbors, friends and local businesses — for helping Wilton Library continue as the center for discovery in the heart of our community.
We had an amazing committee who were hard at work these past few months, led by our co-chairs Michele Ferguson-Nicholas and Callie Mellana. They created a fabulous evening which brought everyone together in support of a common cause.  A huge thank you, and our gratitude, to the committee for all their wonderful work in supporting the Wilton Library. We could not have done it without their help and the support of the community!
