Letter: Artisan show is another success

To the Editors:

On behalf of the 30th annual American Artisan Show committee and the Wilton Historical Society, we would like to extend our thanks to the friends of the society for supporting us at this past weekend's show and preview party and auction.

Our festive fall show was a wonderful success due in large part to 37 talented and inspired artisans who travelled from as far as Virginia, east from Ohio and south from Maine to join us. They exhibited pieces that represented a dedication to their fine crafts.

Additional thanks are due to our generous sponsors Fairfield County Bank, BMW of Ridgefield, TD Bank, The Connecticut Group, Granite Group Investors, Servco Oil, Wilson Properties, Town Vibe, Pat Scully Design, Café Ruche and the Village Market.

And last but certainly not least, thank you to our patrons whose attendance at the show confirmed to us and the artisans that Wilton is still a town where there is a market for quality made-in-America collectibles.
