To the Editor,

A big thank you to all the generous members, volunteers, supporters, friends, neighbors and sponsors in our community for supporting Wilton Historical’s Annual Appeal.

We more than doubled support from last year’s Annual Appeal, setting a record for contributions, including 100% participation from our board and staff.

Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, this funding allows us to keep offering high-quality programs like Booked for Lunch talks with bestselling authors and lectures on Zoom.

Favorite programs like Make Your Own History Summer Camp have continued and we opened the doors wide to welcome happy kids and families to the annual Holiday Trains Show and Snow Village, which was a huge success.

Plus, we introduced fun new events like Fire and Ice for July 4th and the Great Wilton Pumpkin Fest and Scavenger Hunt in October.

We so appreciate your continued support for the Annual Appeal as we do not receive funding from the Town of Wilton; the Annual Appeal runs through our fiscal year-end on Sept. 30, so there is still time to donate if you have not yet done so.

And we would be remiss if we didn't add our heartfelt thanks to Wilton Historical staff, both for their support of the Annual Appeal and their many efforts to make possible the programs outlined above and others during the difficulties posed by the pandemic.

With your support, History is Here for everyone!
