Richard F. Hamm, age 89, a long-time resident of Wilton, Conn., died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Norwalk Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Born in Chicago, Ill., Nov. 27, 1925, he was the son of late Otto and Mary Ferneding Hamm.
Richard was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and spent decades as a commercial airline pilot. He was an expert skier as well as an avid reader. He also was an uncanny puzzle solver.
