Family and friends are mourning the death of Judith Gail Abilock on April 11, 2016, in Bradenton, Fla., at age 64. She made her home in Wilton for 26 years.
She was born March 29, 1952, in Queens, N.Y., but spent much of her teenage years in Orlando, Fla., where she was valedictorian at Edgewater High School. She also later received an MBA from the University of New Haven

Her career involved work as a computer and business consultant with several organizations, including Price-Waterhouse; Mitre Corporation, where she worked as a consultant with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (becoming a finalist in the astronaut program); GTE Corporation, and Pitney Bowes, Inc.

She was the daughter of Arthur Abilock and Joyce Joan Jacobs Abilock of Queens, and Orlando/Winter Park, FL, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her two children, Aran Abilock Clemmons and Gennifer Abilock Clemmons of Palmetto, Fla.; her husband, Charles Clemmons of Chapel Hill, N.C.; her sister, Sandra Abilock Hall of Fern Park, Fla.; and her nephew, Brian Levine, of Orlando.

Interment took place at Wellwood Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y., on April 15.

“Judy lived for her children. She shall surely be missed by all who knew her,” her family said.
