Janet Marie Musho was born in Yonkers, N.Y. on Sept. 30, 1943. She passed peacefully to her eternal home on April 2, 2016.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, family was always Janet’s greatest joy. Her life was filled with service to others through teaching and later with her work at the American Red Cross in Westport, Conn.

Janet had an unwavering faith in God and was a faithful servant. Over the years, she had been involved with the church and served in many capacities including most recently as a CCD teacher.

Janet was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Edward Musho. She is survived by her four children, Pam Musho; Edward Musho and his wife Stephanie; Greg Musho and his wife Stacy; Renee Tulimieri and her husband, Philip. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Ryan Musho, Ilianna Musho, Simone Tulimieri, Tyler Musho, Jane Musho, Charlize Tulimieri, Rory Musho and Troy Tulimieri. Janet is also survived by her brother, William Hayduk and his wife Barbara; brother-in-law, Theodore Musho; sister-in-law Veronica Bertha and several nieces and nephews.  Janet had a kind heart and was a friend to many.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, from 8:45 to 10 a.m. at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue in Norwalk. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held immediately following at 10:30 at St. Matthew’s Church, 216 Scribner Avenue in Norwalk.  A graveside service will then follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Norwalk.
