Obituary: Earl H. Beck Jr., 81

Earl H. Beck Jr., of Warrington, Pa., formerly of Wilton, Conn., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, in Doylestown, Pa. He was 81.

Born in Chester, Pa., Earl was the son of the late Earl H. and Amelia Beck, Sr.

Earl was the husband of Ruth (née Scherer) Beck.

Earl graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in mechanical engineering

Earl had been employed as an engineer in the Packing Industry and had worked for the Container Corporation of America, Continental Can and was vice president of a packaging consulting firm. His work involved extensive travel to Japan, Korea and Europe.

In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by his children, Tracey Morrow (David) of Doylestown, Pa., Karyn Frink (Phil) of Cumberland, R.I., and Scott Beck (Rhea) of South Orange, N.J. Earl is also survived by his grandchildren Justin, Keisha, Kendra, Alex, Tyler and Tennessee.    

Earl’s funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
