What's on the ballot?

With the Annual Town Meeting coming up on Tuesday, May 6, voters can get an advance look at the ballot by visiting the web page of the registrars of voters at wiltonct.org. In addition to voting for or against the municipal and school budgets, there will be five Yes/No questions regarding capital projects.

Although voting begins after the meeting, which is at 7:30 p.m. in the Middlebrook School auditorium, it will be continued until Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Clune Center.

Absentee ballots are available starting Wednesday, May 7, through Friday, May 9, in person at the town clerk’s office.

All registered Wilton voters are eligible to vote on the budget and additional questions. Also, U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old,  resident or nonresident, who own real property — or a motor vehicle — valued at $1,000 or more on Wilton’s last completed grand list may vote at the 2014 Annual Town Meeting.
