Jeff Rutishauser was re-elected chairman of the Wilton Board of Finance during its Dec. 19 meeting.

Board member John Kalamarides nominated Rutishauser to continue serving as chair, stating that he has done “a wonderful job” leading the board for the last two years.

‘You’ve consulted with us individually, you’ve listened to us and you’ve put our ideas into effect,” said Kalamarides, “so I put you forth as chair.”

Two other Board of Finance officer positions were assigned that evening — Walter Cress as vice chairman and Richard Creeth as clerk.

The board also appointed members to serve as liaisons to other town boards and committees.

Kalamarides was re-appointed to serve as trustee on Wilton’s pension committee and continue serving on the Miller-Driscoll Building Committee.

New finance board member Stuart Koenigsberg was appointed to Wilton’s Other Post-employment Benefits (OPEB) Trust, a position previously held by now-retired board member Warren Serenbetz.

Creeth and Peter Balderston were re-appointed to serve on the Board of Education’s Business Operations Committee.
