Wilton Public Schools will host TechNext 2016 — the district’s yearly celebration and showcase of innovation with technology — in the Wilton High School Little Theater on Tuesday, March 22.

With the theme “It’s Not all Fun and Games,” this year’s expo will focus on how technology can be used to better the world.

Booths will be open for public viewing in the Wilton High School lobby starting at 5 p.m., where visitors can see how technology is used in Wilton schools and by its students — from students who built their own computers to students who code their own games.

There will be a presentation of the high school’s 1:1 Chromebook pilot program, as well as a stage show in the Little Theater, featuring 11 acts — including robotics, video production and e-book publishing — followed by tours of the high school’s new video and recording studios.

TechNext 2016 will run until about 8 p.m.

Rehearsals for TechNext 2016 will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, in the Wilton High School Little Theater, 395 Danbury Road.
