Five snow closings so far this year have pushed the last day of school for Wilton public school students to Friday, June 22.

The last day of school was originally scheduled for June 15.

On Feb. 9, Superintendent Kevin Smith sent a letter to parents, guardians, faculty and staff announcing the updated school calendar.

According to a note at the bottom of the updated calendar, the last day of school this year will be “no later” than Wednesday, June 27, and graduation — the date of which has not yet been set — will be held “no later” than Saturday, June 23.

The first snow day of the school year was on Oct. 30. The others were on Jan. 4, Jan. 5, Jan. 17 and Feb. 7.
