School happenings: Miller-Driscoll
Snowmen All Year
Karin Brooks’ kindergarten art classes at Miller-Driscoll took time to make big snowmen for the the school’s hallways as part of a collaborative art project called Snowmen All Year 2016.
Each class was assigned two months of the year for their snowmen to represent. After discussing what their snowmen would look like for each month, the students took turns painting on the big snowmen.
Students in Mary McGann's second grade class have been doing "a great job" announcing student birthdays and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance each morning, according to the district's Jan. 22 News from the Schools newsletter.
Dayna Miller's second grade class will be the next group to make the school's morning announcements.
