PGP theme revealed

On Monday, June 1, the entire senior class at Wilton High received hand-delivered invitations to this year’s Post Graduation Party (PGP). The theme, which is always a closely guarded secret, was revealed to be “Tune In. Stay Tuned.”
For the past four weeks, the PGP Committee released teasers on Facebook and Twitter and each week, seniors were encouraged to guess the theme with prizes awarded for the closest and most creative guesses.
Tune In. Stay Tuned. will be brought to life when the event is held at Middlebrook School on the evening of Saturday, June 20, following graduation.
“Middlebrook will be transformed and completely unrecognizable as the school these kids attended from sixth through eighth grade,” said PGP Chair Shawn Kahal.
Members of the Wilton community are invited to the PGP walk-through that afternoon from 2 to 4 and then again from 6 to 8.
No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in, no pets admitted and no cameras allowed into the viewing.
The PGP starts at 10:30 p.m., with no admittance after 11:30, and ends at 5 a.m.
The goal of the party is to provide a safe environment to celebrate the accomplishments of the last 13 years.
Kahal said working with the committee has been “a privilege and a great opportunity to connect with the parents of the 2015 graduating class.”
