Around 500 students, parents, staff and other guests gathered in the Six Yellow Wing of Middlebrook School on Friday, March 13, to get a glimpse at the various student-made artifacts on display at this year’s Mysteries of Egypt event.
Social studies teacher Luisa Nanos said it took yellow team sixth graders six weeks to complete the project — “starting with the students choosing their topics, then researching, writing, creating and finally displaying their artifacts.”
“This year’s Mysteries of Egypt was a huge success with every student contributing their best effort and talent,” said Ms. Nanos. “All of the 6Y teachers are so proud of them.”
