The Montessori School at 34 Whipple Road in Wilton invited some of the town’s civic leaders to a breakfast and forum Wednesday, Oct. 26.
Students provided honey from the school’s hives, freshly baked bread, name tags and a tour of classrooms at the school, which serves toddlers through sixth graders.
Guests included Wilton Fire Chief Ronald Kanterman, Realty Seven broker Peg Koellmer, Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps (WVAC) volunteer Wendy Fratino, Wilton Police Capt. John Lynch, and Wilton Library Executive Director Elaine Tai-Lauria.
During the forum, school community members and their guests discussed what can be done to raise awareness of the Montessori School, as well as ways in which they can partner to work toward common goals.
The group will continue to meet and welcomes new community members to attend future meetings.
