Local floral designer leads two new courses
Wilton resident, garden club member and floral designer Michele Klink will lead two new Wilton Continuing Education classes this month called Wine & Design. Participants are encouraged to bring beverages and snacks to the classes, both of which will take place at Trackside Teen Center, from 7 to 9 p.m.
During Klink’s Wine & Design: Terrarium Workshop class on Thursday, Nov. 9, participants will learn to build an open terrarium using echeveria and other succulents, and create an arrangement with decorative rocks and sand. There is a $30 materials fee for this class.
Klink’s second class — Wine & Design: Natural Styling/Boho Chic — on Thursday, Nov. 16, will focus on trending floral designs. Participants will learn the art of natural styling in floral design using fresh-cut flowers and a footed pedestal. There is a $35 materials fee for this class.
There is a $35 class fee for each Wine & Design class, with a $10 discount for Wilton residents.
