Steel beam installation
The last student-signed and hand-printed steel beam was installed into the new first grade wing of Miller-Driscoll School on Wednesday, April 20. Superintendent Kevin Smith, Miller-Driscoll Interim Principal Bernadette Hess, Assistant Principal Jeremy Cross and Miller-Driscoll Building Committee member Patti Temple and Rick Tomasetti gathered at the construction site for the event and signed their names on the beam before it was lifted by crane and attached to the building frame. The $50-million renovation is now expected to be complete by Labor Day 2017.
