CABE awards Wilton school district

For the second consecutive year, the Wilton Board of Education has received the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) Leadership Award.

The award is presented to boards of education that demonstrate evidence of working collaboratively to promote student achievement, advance educational excellence and model effective practices.

The association also recognized the Wilton Public Schools with its Bonnie E. Carney Award for Excellence in Educational Communications. The district was recognized for its use of social media, support of Wilton Go Green’s No Idle campaign, and the development of its budget.
