Wilton police charged a 26-year-old Bronx man with driving without a license, traveling too fast, and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana on April 14. After stopping him for driving 52 mph in a 35-mph zone in the northbound lane of Danbury Road around 3 a.m., police detected an odor of marijuana coming from his car. A search yielded less than half an ounce of marijuana, including marijuana roaches in the vest he was wearing. The driver also had a suspended New York learner permit, which equates to no license in Connecticut. His car was towed and he was ticketed accordingly.
