A Massachusetts woman turned herself in to Wilton police headquarters on Dec. 23 around 8 in the morning after learning of an active warrant for her arrest, police said.
She was wanted for harassment and criminal violation of a restraining order, crimes she is accused of having committed between the dates of Nov. 26 and Dec. 1 of thisyear. According to police, it was reported that the accused, Jeanne Tienken, 46, of 37 Burnham Street, Belmont, Mass., during the aforementioned period attempted to contact the victim via phone, text and email a number of times, harassing said victim and breaching a previously enacted protective order, valid through October 2016.
Based on the evidence available, Wilton police pursued and acquired a warrant for Tienken’s arrest.
After surrendering, Tienken was held on a court-set bond of $25,000, which she could not post, and was arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court the same day.
