Wilton police assist Norwalk, construction burglary
After running its plate, police stopped a 1995 Subaru Legacy northbound on Danbury Road near Seeley Road around 7 p.m. on Jan. 25 because its registration had expired.
During the investigation, the driver, Alejandro Carlos Ubaldo, 45, of 372 Olmstead Hill Road was found wanted by the Norwalk Police Department.
Ubaldo was taken to Wilton headquarters, where he was picked up later by Norwalk police. Wilton’s agency issued him a written warning for failure to renew his registration.
Construction trailer burglary
Sometime between Jan. 21 and Jan. 25, police suspect, someone unlawfully entered a construction trailer at 135 Seir Hill Road and stole items that had been housed within it.
According to police, these were mostly contractor’s tools. The burglary and larceny are still under investigation. Anyone with pertinent information is encouraged to call the Wilton Police Department at 203-894-6260.
