Wilton Police Log: DUIs, disorderly, threatening, theft
A Wilton woman was charged July 23 with driving under the influence after being pulled over at 12:54 a.m. for riding in the middle of the two northbound lanes on Danbury Road.
Police said Elizabeth Slutsky, 62, of 3 Hubbard Road, was also charged with failure to drive in the proper lane.
She was released on $250 bond with a court date of August 2.
A Wilton man below the drinking age was arrested for driving under the influence and other charges July 22 at 12:30 a.m. on Cedar Road.
Police said Ndeja Brooks, 20, of 189 Scribner Hill Road, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence of a minor, operating under suspension and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was released on $250 bond with a court date of Aug. 1.
Wallet stolen from car
A wallet containing multiple items totaling $80 was reported stolen from a 2012 Honda Civic parked at Merwin Meadows July 21 at 6:07 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
A 56-year-old South Salem, N.Y., man was charged with disorderly conduct July 21 at 11:58 a.m. at 713 Danbury Road after a report of two males fighting.
Upon investigation, it was determined the altercation was only verbal but Christopher Orifici was determined to be the aggressor. Orifici, of 219 Spring Street, South Salem, was released on a promise to appear in court Aug. 1.
A 53-year-old Peckville, Pa., man was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment July 19 at 11:27 a.m., stemming from a domestic incident in Wilton in 2012.
The warrant was issued in 2013 when Frank A. Pellicci II, of 954 Clearview Lane in Peckville, failed to appear in court. On July 19 he turned himself in and was processed at headquarters with a court date of Aug. 1. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Expensive bicycle stolen
A Cannondale Bad Habit 1 bicycle valued at $5,000 was reported stolen July 19 at 3:32 p.m. from 1 Cannondale Way.
The bicycle was stolen off of a car hitch bike rack in the parking lot of Cannondale Sports. Police said no one witnessed the theft.
Police investigated a report of two vehicles racing near the Wilton High School main driveway and made an arrest after viewing the culprits on security video.
The two youths, whose names were not released, were driving a black Volkswagen GTI and a blue Subaru Forester. Both received misdemeanor summonses with a court date of Aug. 1.
No incidences of domestic violence or verbal abuse were reported in town between July 19 and July 26, but one warrant arrest was made in connection with a 2013 threatening incident.
