Wanted man surrenders

Robert Citron, 51, of 9 Cannon Street, Norwalk, turned himself in at Wilton police headquarters on Dec. 11 around 12:30 p.m. on an arrest warrant stemming from an August 2015 incident of forgery and larceny.

According to police, Citron was wanted for illegally cashing a monthly conservator’s check that was made out not to him but to a family member of his.

At a Wells Fargo bank, he successfully deposited the $500 check into his own bank account, which resulted in the larceny charge, police said.

Citron, charged with third-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny, posted a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 21.
