Threatening a neighbor

A neighborhood dispute on Jan. 6 around 4 p.m. landed one person with a threatening charge and a consequent misdemeanor summons.
According to police, the victim called to complain that her neighbor, Keith Ryan, 46, of Thunder Lake Road, had threatened to shoot her.
Police said the victim was yelling at children for throwing small stones at her dog when the accused got involved on their behalf.
Responding to the incident, police, based on the statements made, charged Ryan with threatening in the second degree and issued him a misdemeanor summons to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Jan. 15.
