Failure to appear


Raymond Schilke, 27, of New Paltz, N.Y., was charged Thursday, Nov. 23, at Wilton police headquarters with second-degree failure to appear in two court districts, plus many motor vehicle and drug charges from Wilton and Vernon.

Police said Schilke was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 22, by a bail recovery agent and turned in on a warrant issued June 30 out of Norwalk, and another issued July 29 out of Vernon, for failure to appear in court.

He was held on $6,500 bond and appeared in court the next morning.

Evading


Thomas Carroll, 23, of Norwalk, was charged Saturday, Nov. 25, with evading responsibility in operation of motor vehicles and failure to drive in the proper lane after leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident at 597 Nod Hill Road in Wilton.

Carroll turned himself in at headquarters after a warrant was applied for and approved by Norwalk Superior Court.

He was released on $5,000 bond with a court date of Dec. 5.

Audi fob found


An Audi car key fob was dropped off at the Wilton Police Department on Friday, Nov. 24, after being found on a road.

The Wilton Police Department responded to two domestic verbal calls between Nov. 21 to Nov. 28.
