Uber driver assaulted

An Uber driver was allegedly assaulted by a passenger at the Wilton train station, 7 Station Road, on Friday, Jan. 18. The incident was reported to police the next day.

“The Uber driver stated that the passenger was intoxicated and was upset that the Uber driver used the main entrance and did not use the driveway next to the gas station to get into the train station,” Lt. Robert Kluk told The Bulletin in an email.

Police said the passenger is unknown and the Uber driver did not want to pursue charges.

The Wilton Police Department responded to one domestic dispute between Jan. 15 and Jan. 21.
