A 25-year-old Wilton woman was charged with larceny for $135 worth of merchandise allegedly taken at Stop & Shop on River Road Oct. 9 at 8:31 p.m.

Mariam Kutaladze, of 114 Struge Ridge Road, was an employee at Stop & Shop and was suspected by store personnel of fraudulently cashing out bottle receipts, police said. She was monitored through video surveillance for a couple of days and was found to have stolen $135 from the register.

She was released on a promise to appear in court Oct. 19.

The Wilton Police Department responded to a domestic verbal call Oct. 8 on Lovers Lane between a man and his ex-wife. There was no arrest.
