Forgery


A Stamford man was charged with third-degree forgery July 12 at 9:30 a.m. on an active arrest warrant.

Officers arrested Domingo Leonidas, 30, of 354 Richmond Place, Stamford, at Norwalk Superior Court, where he was appearing on other charges.

He was held on $2,500 bond with a court date of July 13. His charges were related to an incident in which he was pulled over by police and gave fraudulent registration and insurance information.

DUI


A 20-year-old Wilton man was charged with driving under the influence and another charge  July 13 at 10 p.m.

Police said James H. Black, of 374 Thayer Pond Road, was also charged with failure to drive right.

Police said Black turned himself in on July 13 for an active arrest warrant stemming from an investigation of an accident that occurred on June 15. After the accident, which was minor, it was determined he had substances in his system.

He was released on $260 bond with a court date of July 25.


Threatening


A 42-year-old West Haven man was charged with second-degree threatening following an incident July 16 at 5 a.m. in Wilton.

Police said Matthew King, of 511 Main Street, West Haven, was held on $5,000 bond with a court date of July 18. He allegedly threatened his parents through text messaging, police said.

King was taken into custody by West Haven police on an active arrest warrant from Wilton. He was brought to Wilton headquarters where he was processed.

No incidences of domestic violence or verbal abuse were reported in town between July 13 and July 18.
