Police Log: DUI, attempted burglary, found cell phone
A 26-year-old Port Chester, N.Y., man was charged Oct. 3 with operating under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane in connection with a car crash in September.
Police said Jesse Burba, of 428 Orchard Street, Port Chester, turned himself in at headquarters on a warrant stemming from a crash that occurred on Sept. 8. It was a single-car crash with minor injuries.
He was released on $2,500 bond with a court date of Oct. 17.
Police are asking anyone with information to call detectives regarding an attempted burglary Oct. 3 at the Wilton Crest condominiums.
A resident left her unit in the afternoon and returned to find the door handle had been tampered with. There was no other evidence of a break-in, police said.

Cell phone found
A cell phone was found in the roadway on Graenest Ridge. It can be claimed at headquarters at 203-834-6260.
The Wilton Police Department responded to several domestic calls from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, including a case of text harassment from a woman’s ex-boyfriend on Spicewood Lane and a case of a girl in an argument with her parents on Highview Drive.
