The Wilton Police Department announces that on the morning of Tuesday Nov. 3, the milling of River Road, Old Ridgefield Road and Center Street will begin.

The work will be done over the course of approximately two to three days and will result in traffic delays, police said.

Paving will “most likely” start on Friday morning, Nov. 6 and take approximately two days to complete.

Police request drivers’ patience and cooperation with officers and traffic control flaggers.

Schedule changes due to weather or other issues will be communicated promptly, police said.

During the nighttime hours of Monday, Nov. 2, the state Department of Transportation is scheduled to paint lines on the newly paved section of Route 106, which includes Wolfpit Road, Sharp Hill Road and Hurlbutt Street/ Chestnut Hill Road.

Disruption to traffic should be minimal, police said.
