A male found drifting in and out of consciousness in the parking lot of Caraluzzi’s supermarket at 920 Danbury Road, Dec. 7 at 2:55 p.m. was revived with administration of Narcan, according to police.

Capt. Robert Cipolla said the male was conscious and alert when brought by ambulance to Norwalk Hospital.

There were no details on whether it was a specific drug overdose. It turned out to be a medical condition, said Lt. Robert Kluk.

The man’s identity cannot be disclosed but he is not believed to be from Wilton, Cipolla said.

It was the second time this year police used Narcan to revive a patient. In a case April 27, a 911 caller reported a male victim on the side of Hidden Lake road unconscious.  When officers arrived on scene they administered Narcan.  The victim regained consciousness and was transported to the hospital.  There were no arrests and the victim was not cooperative in the investigation, Kluk said.
