Ohio man cut off at bar, later charged with DUI
At 9:30 p.m. on July 1, David Latshaw, 22, of 6170 Wigeon Court Circle, Dublin, Ohio, was refused service at Cactus Rose in Wilton Center after a bartender observed him to be heavily intoxicated.
After “filing a complaint,” Latshaw then left the bar and attempted to move his car into a different parking space, according to police.
In doing so, he drove his 2008 Subaru Forester into a handicap sign post, and police were called.
Latshaw failed to adequately perform a field sobriety test and refused a Breathalyzer test. He was arrested for DUI.
He posted a $250 bond and has a Norwalk Superior Court date scheduled for July 13.
