A Wilton High School student was found in possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana on Oct. 28 and another was found with a legal-sized buck knife encased in a backpack. The knife was within the three-inch limit for a legal blade.
The juvenile with marijuana was also found with drug paraphernalia. He was referred to juvenile court Nov. 15 on a promise to appear. The juvenile with the knife was charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds.

School administrators began their investigation last week after intercepting a selfie photo of a boy with a knife and another youth in the photo. Inquiries led to the youth with marijuana.
The Wilton Police Department responded to three domestic verbal calls during the week of Oct. 26 to 31, including two cases in which summonses were issued to men for disorderly conduct. There were three calls of domestic violence reported during the week.
