Change your clock, change your battery

“Fall Back"! This morning you should have turned your clocks back one hour for the end of daylight saving time.

When you do turn back your clocks remember to change the batteries in your smoke alarm, too. Smoke alarm batteries need to be changed at least twice a year. This simple act cuts the risk of dying in a home fire nearly in half. Also, be sure to test that smoke alarm at least once a month. Smoke alarms more than 10 years old should be replaced.

This is a lifesaving reminder to “Change you Clock, Change your Battery” from the Wilton Fire Department.
