For the third time, Belden Hill Road resident Garrett Albright’s pre-trial hearing at Norwalk Superior Court has been rescheduled — this time for Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Albright’s pre-hearing trial, originally scheduled for June 8, was first pushed to July 6, then to July 28.
In June, 30-year-old Albright pleaded not guilty to the charges of risk of injury to a minor, a class C felony; possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, and an illegible license plate after he was found parked behind the Starbucks at 21 River Road in Wilton with a 15-year-old on April 20.
On the day of his arrest, a Wilton police officer observed “suspicious activity” during routine patrol and found Albright and the teen in a 2013 Subaru Legacy parked behind the coffee shop.
“The two occupants were reclined in their seats. When the officer’s vehicle approached, they returned their seats to the proper position,” police said.
According to police, the officer “initiated a [motor vehicle] stop” because the car had an obstructed rear license plate.
