Marcelle Soviero of Wilton, left, will be one of the speakers at the next installment of Writing Women’s Lives on Friday, March 20, at noon, at Westport Public Library. She and Catherine Onyemelukwe of Westport, right, will offer writing advice to both novice and experienced writers. The event is free and no preregistration is needed. Ms. Soviero, editor in chief of Brain, Child: the Magazine for Thinking Mothers and a personal essay/memoir writing instructor, will explain what separates the ordinary from more polished work, offering specific tips on how to write a memoir that is captivating, marketable and ready for publication.
