Wilton faces in Weston
Wilton Town Attorney Ken Bernhard has assumed similar duties in Weston. That town’s new first selectman, Nina Daniel, re-appointed him as town counsel “because his area of expertise is municipal law and he has been listed in the Best Lawyers peer review guide since 2013,” according to The Bulletin’s sister paper, The Weston Forum. Weston’s Board of Selectmen unanimously approved the appointment.
Bernhard, a partner with Cohen and Wolf, was town counsel in Weston from 2000 to 2009.
The Weston board also approved Patricia Sullivan’s appointment as assistant attorney specializing in the area of land use. Sullivan, also with Cohen and Wolf, had been Weston’s town attorney.
Sullivan also advises Wilton on land-use issues.
