Cullen replaces benches, earns Eagle Scout award

Nicholas Cullen, senior at Wilton High School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 20, replaced three wooden benches surrounding the Comstock Community Center basketball court for his Eagle Scout project.
Ring’s End of Wilton and Home Depot of Norwalk donated materials for Nicholas’ project, which was completed in one day with the help of volunteers from his troop.
Nicholas, who has been a Boy Scout since the sixth grade and aspires to be a park ranger, was formally presented the Eagle Scout award — the highest rank in Boy Scouts — at a Court of Honor ceremony at Wilton Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 31.
