Award-winning director joins Trackside

Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road, welcomes Hannah Bellows of Waterbury as the new musical theater instructor.
A singer, dancer and actor — with extensive directing credits — she joins Trackside to offer a new musical theater experience for Wilton students.
The Musical Theater class is designed to allow students the freedom to choose what they would like to perform and collaborate on a musical showcase to be performed at the end of the course.
Bellows comes to Trackside after completing a residency at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, Conn., as assistant director for two plays in the National Playwright’s Conference this year.
In April, she was awarded the National SDC Directing Fellowship at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival National Festival.
Bellows earned her degree in musical theater from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Conn.
The Musical Theater Class at Trackside takes place on Thursdays, from 4 to 5 p.m., beginning Sept. 17 and ending Nov. 12.
The fee for eight classes is $125. Students of all experience levels are invited to join.
