Fifth grade concert The Fifth Grade Orchestra, Chorus, Cider Mill Singers and Advanced Strings performed a concert on Tuesday, Feb. 9, for parents, friends and the community. The Fifth Grade Chorus made a grand entrance as they sang and played hand bells and performed an original round. The Advanced Strings performed "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons and pieces by Handel and Bach, while the Cider Mill Singers\u00a0sang\u00a0a series of A cappella rounds and the orchestra performed a series of 12 bar blues, composed by members of the ensemble. That same day, the Cider Mill Singers also visited the Wilton Greens and performed a lunchtime concert. Gift-by-Gift As part of their Gift-by-Gift project, a group of girls from Jeff Schwartz's fourth grade Nod Hill class raised $1,500 for the Wilton Food Pantry and Homes for Hope in Westport. The girls sold raffle tickets throughout the school for a chance to win an iPad Mini and split the money between\u00a0the two charities. 4th Grade\u00a0Fun Night Fourth graders and their parents had a game-filled 4th Grade Fun Night on Friday, Jan. 29, with rounds of hot potato, Twister, bowling, tug-of-war\u00a0and other games. There was also a station where students could create ice cream sundaes.
