There may be bubbles. There may be beach balls. With luck, there will be sun. The forecast right now is for mostly sunny skies on Saturday, a happy harbinger for the future of the class of 2013, set to graduate from Wilton High School on June 22. The ceremony will commence at 5 p.m. at Memorial Stadium. (In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the field house.) Some 320 students will don their robes \u2014 blue for the boys, white for the girls \u2014 for the culmination of their high school career. Welcoming students, families and friends will be senior Jack Jankowski, president of the executive board. The valedictorian \u2014 there is no salutatorian \u2014 will be chosen Friday, but will not be publicly announced until introduced at graduation by Assistant Principal Linda Lyall. Also being kept under wraps is the name of the graduation speaker. It will be a faculty member who has already been chosen but the name will be secret until announced at the ceremony by senior Paige Wallace, vice president of the executive board. Wilton High Principal Robert O\u2019Donnell will present the class of 2013 to Superintendent Gary Richards and Board of Education Chairman Bruce Likly will present students with their diplomas. David Gumins, senior class vice president, and Allison Schaefer, a senior class officer, will present the class gift. Senior Class President Jake Bazilian will offer closing remarks. Following graduation, all seniors are invited to the Post Graduation Party that starts at 10:30 at Middlebrook School.
